Laser Tune-up Service


Service Procedures Include

a. Disconnect power
b. Remove all covers from machine
c. Remove all fan motors and thoroughly clean fins and motors
d. Professionally clean all electrical boards
e. Remove power supply, its covers and fans, clean heat sink and all components
f. Empty distilled water resevoir and clean, replace DI filter, re-fill and test entire system for leaks
g. Change Flash lamp
h. Professionally clean all optics; Microscope, Laser Eye Protection Glass, Light Bending Mirror, Laser Objective Lens, Laser Alignment Mirrors, and replace Lens Protection Glass
i. Check all programs and diagnostic for proper operation


Required Parts
(purchased by laboratory prior to service):

a. Flash Lamp
b. DI Filter
c. Air Filter
d. Lens Protector Glass
e. 2 Gallons Distilled Water

Basic Laser Installation
(Services performed by highly trained laser technicians with over seven years of dental laboratory laser installation experience.)


Includes

a. Physical inspection of machine and all components
b. Check line voltage and supply buck booster if necessary
c. Check Argon and compressed cooling air requirements
d. Check system for Argon and air leaks - correct if necessary
e. Fill cooling system and initiate start-up
f. Check system for water leaks after initial start-up - correct if necessary
g. Check alignment of resonator mirrors and adjust overall laser beam direction for optimal efficiency
h. Align laser hit to crosshairs for pinpoint accuracy
i. Check and adjust physical beam size to correspond precisely to electronic indication on parameter display
j. Set pulse shape options for TI alloy and Cobalt Chromium materials
k. Check all programs and diagnostics for proper operation
l. Instruct laboratory personnel on preventive maintenance procedures and periodic lamp and filters replacement
m. Instruct dental technicians on basic machine operation
